Voters in the state of Pennsylvania head to the polls today to not just elect a new president, but to decide if judges should get another million dollars with 5 more years of service.

Currently, state Supreme Court Justices serve until the last day of the year that they turn 70 years old.

The proposed question on the ballot asks if this should be extended until the last day of the year that judges turn 75 year old.

According to Pennsylvania codes, a justice on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court makes $203,409 every year, while the Chief Justice makes $5,920 more.

This means an extra $1,017,045 that the judges will earn if this measure is put through.

The measure was supposed to be voted on back in April but lawsuits moved it to November and changed the wording on the ballot.
